The w164 Alto is a new type of floor lamp. The w164 Alto lamp was designed by Dirk Winkel for Wästberg and accommodates a remarkable 10,000 lumens, as well as a multidirectional LED technology, which offers a very uniform and super wide angle light distribution. The upper disc of the base is a large dimming wheel, which also contains the switch. The extreme, lateral constellation of the cylindrical units is reminiscent of a brutalistic, deconstructive view of architecture. The W164 Alto lamp is the winner of the Editor’s Choice Award 2016 – the new award of the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fairs – in the “Best Product” category.
