Eames Plastic Armchair PACC was designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra and was created in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the “Low Cost Furniture Design” competition of the Museum of Modern Art. The Vitra PACC chair was the first industrially manufactured chair made of plastic. In their latest version made of polypropylene, the chairs offer even better seating comfort. The large selection of bases allows use from the dining room to the home office to the garden. Together with the different colors and upholstery options, there is a multitude of possible combinations for individually fitting chairs. Eames Plastic Chair Charles & Ray Eames, 1950 In 2015 Vitra adapted the seat geometry and height of the Eames Plastic Chairs to today’s requirements and added six new colors to the color palette of the seats.
