Sustainable Scandinavian design from India

These stunning Bowl Tables from designer Ayush Kasliwal showcase some real synergy, effortlessly combining Indian handicrafts and homegrown craftsmanship with clear Scandinavian influences.

Inspired by traditional lacquered bowls that are found throughout India, the designer has transformed the innate and everyday into something truly spectacular. Available in four variants, each table boasts a distinctly retro-inspired aesthetic, with fine steel legs perfectly complementing the Indian mango wood for a fabulous fifties-feel. Made from Indian sourced wood and finished by hand by local carpenters, this stunning coffee tables make a fantastic first impression.

These tables are also an environmentally sound choice, with mango tree wood being one of the most economical choices for furniture making and carpentry. Mango wood tends to be harvested once the fruit-bearing years of the tree have passed, meaning agricultural value isn’t compromised.
