Meizai and Porters

These outstanding photographs were taken for the Australian furniture designer Meizai and colour designer Porters. The photographer was Reuben Gates, with stylisation by Bek Sheppard. Both were already working together for Neutral Instinct and they show us here once again the poetic beauty in photo-art.
They set out a wide range of furniture, textiles and wall colors and put them in the spotlight. The colored background appears almost unreal, and creates a perfect environment for the informal arrangement in the foreground of tables and chairs.
