Peter Buchberger, the founder and owner of design studio Raumkonzepte, obviously wanted something extra special for his own home. His personal style breathes out of every part of the Seventies house that he originally used as a showroom. He describes the design of this large space as eclectic and a homage to Florida in which he mixes materials from the 1950s with the architecture and furniture of the 1970s.

Buchberger used white oiled oak floors both inside and on the balcony to create a connection between the interior and the exterior. He separated the bedroom from the working area using an aquarium. Natural onyx stone, a bit hit in the 1970s and now enjoying a renaissance, plays an important role in the interior, both in the lining of the aquarium and in between the cabinets in the library.
